About the antibody for apoptosis, I have read about an antibody to cleaved caspase 3 from Cell Signaling Technologies (catalog # 9661). You can try it. It works well on FFPE. I have not tried it myself, but I am planning to. I tried the TUNEL kit and was not happy with it.
