We have never had a sticking problem with the molds.  We put the molds
into an empty icecube tray after the paraffin has set and them placed the
tray into a freezer at -10 degrees C for approx 15 minutes.   After
taking the molds from the freezer the paraffin blocks pop out with ease. 
The molds are them stacked and placed into the heat chamber of the
embeding center.  I have even placed them into the cryostat when the
freezer was down.
