Yup, you are absolutely right Gayle. I ahve always flushed with Heparin
Saline, before using the fixative....usually 4% para, and usually stored on
ice.....
I cant remember the amount of heparin...(i think it is something like
1.25mls per litre of 25000U/ml..if that seems right..)
I have very rarely had a problem with perfusions.....( i have in the past
used Zambonis fluid as well)
