I have the same problem, the reason for mine is the fact that my e-mail
address when I signed up was @anthc.org, then it was changed by the computer
folks to @anmc.org. I can still receive (but not post to the public) to the
old address.  If I want to post the the server, I must subscribe also with
the new address, and suffer endless duplicates.

But at least it makes me look like I have LOTS of mail!
