Nancy,
We started using histoclear back in 1984 when it was the only kid on the
block. It worked pretty well, but a number of us sensitized to it, and
subsequently developed breathing issues as well as dermatitis issues. We
also were able to document a Eosin fading issue with long term storage,
not good. We subsequently changed to Propar and have been happily using
and recycling. We archive all of our reference collection for many years
so fading is a real problem.

Hi all,

Has anyone experienced health problems with Histoclear? Has anything
been
written about it?

Thanks in advance.
Nancy
