Dana, thanks for the gracious reference.  I would be tempted to use 
some microwave heating to see if the staining would speed up, making this
more of a stat procedure by lessening time from 20 to ?? minutes.  A time
study would be worthwhile.  Good luck and let us know how this all turns
out.  The sections are always very clean and brilliantly stained with
this tidy, unmessy ORO staining method.  I have thanked Chuck Churukian many
times for this method.
