RE: Daddi's Method

From:Roy Ellis

I have found a reference to Daddi's method in Lillie's 3rd Edition of
Histologic Technic and Practical Histochemistry. He states 'The original
method of Daddi (1896) called for a saturated solution of Sudan III in 70%
alcohol. This takes half an hour or more to stain, gives a rather light
orange color and dissolves out an appreciable amount of fat, in some
instances all of the demonstrable fat that was present.'
