Is there anything wrong with freezing tissue for IHC without using isopentane
or is there a simple apparatus to use isopentane for freezing. I have been
putting OCT in aluminum foil molds, freezing the OCT allmost completely,
adding and orienting the tissue, then adding more OCT and freezing it over by
directly dipping the OCT containing mold directly into liquid nitrogen. Will
this cause any major problems for light microscopy immunohistochemistry.
