The block face must be resealed with a thin layer of OCT, rub some across block face with thumb, or even tongue depressor (sp?) wrap in foil, and go back to -80 freezer. It works for us, some blocks are years old, and still cut perfectly. Gayle Callis Veterinary Molecular Biology Montana State University - Bozeman Bozeman MT 59717-3610 406 994-6367 404 994-4303 (FAX)
