Do you leave the tissues in the processor or somwhere else? And if you leave them in the processor, should the retort be drained or left as is? By the by, we use the Leica TP 1050 here.

Yan,
The tissues have already been impregnated with wax so leaving them is not a problem. Embedding them just makes it easier to cut the sections (incl orientation)

Hi, everyone.  This is a simple question, but I like to make clear of  it.  When I prepare paraffin blockes.  After tissue have been processed, can I leave them in room temperature for one or two days, then embedding them.  Do tissues get more dry this way?  Do I have to embedding them at once?  Thanks.
