To save yourself a lot of work, with a toxic chemical, make up your methyl
green solutions with methyl violet FREE methyl green dye from Sigma, they
have preextracted the MV from the methyl green for you.  Bob Schoonhovens
methyl green is still the superior formulation I have seen, no heating
needed and IT STAINS!
