Fairfield Imaging is holding a series of open sessions for Histologists and
others who wish to gain hands-on experience with image alignment and 3-D
reconstruction based on serial sections.

The first session will be held at our head office in Tunbridge Wells, Kent
(UK) on Wednesday 13th and Thursday 14th of October 1999 (see our website
for details on location and travel).

Day 1: Serial Section Alignment – Bring your own image stack or use our
sample data (our latest innovation also allows the user to warp sections in
case they have been distorted during the sectioning process).
Day 2: 3-D Reconstruction – View your aligned serial sections as a complete
3-D image. View the image from any angle and perform measurements and
intensity analysis.

The use of our facilities is free, as is our training and demonstrations.
Your only costs will be your own travel and hotel expenses.

Places are limited: we now have only one available place for October but
will be running a second Open Day in January. Please contact Sharon Simmons
to book your place and ask about local hotel rates.
