Dear Histonetters,

I am having a big problem with the Methyl Green Counterstain and could
really use your help.  It works beautifully for about one week and then it
just stops working.  No matter how long I stain it, I get only a faint
green stain, even if I use heat.  I have used both commercial and home made
Methyl Green with the same results.

Has any one else had this problem, and if so,  do you know what caused it
and how to fix it?
