many years ago a guy in our lab successfully processed deer ticks into glycol methacrylate to demonstrate the Lyme Disease spirochete and the sections and stains came out great. if you have specific questions about infiltration times etc, you will want to direct them to Bob Skinner who was the magician who made this happen. You should have seen the researcher's face when he saw the result
