Hello all,  I am having a problem with tissue (skeletal muscle fibers) 
falling off silane coated slides as soon as any liquid in put on the
slide. We coat the slides ourselves  following the procedure given by
Sigma Chemical with the exception of dipping in silane for only 5 seconds
instead of the suggested 2 minutes.  The 5 second dip in silane follows
the original procedure of Maddox and Jenkins.
I am wondering if just the time spent in the silane is the cause of my
problems.  Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated.
