Re: pcna

Hi Robin! When I had to stain mouse tissue in the past for PCNA I
used a PCNA kit from Zymed. All reagents are ready-to-use. The primary
antibody is a biotinylated PCNA, thus eliminating the mouse on mouse
non-specific/background staining issues. Although I do believe the clone
is PC10. I did have to tweak the protocol a bit to suit my particular
situation. I think that I reduced the incubation time in the
streptavidin-peroxidase conjugate. Sometimes I have also found it helpful
to incubate the primary and secondary antibodies at 4C to also reduce
non-specific/background. Normally I am not a big fan of ready made
solutions but this kit was fantastic for my purposes. I hope this
information is helpful. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have
further questions. Best wishes!
