Weekend Coverage for Histology

Hi everyone! I am interested in finding out how other hospitals cover
weekend histology service, and would really appreciate any input from as
many as possible on the histonet. If possible, could the following
information please be included in your response?:
1.	Days covered  (e.g. Saturday only, Saturday and Sunday, Sunday only)
2.	Is the coverage an on-call one (only utilized if necessary), or a
routinely scheduled one (a tech always comes in and covers)
3.	Hours covered (each day)
4.	Services covered (e.g. cutting and H&E staining, grossing and
submission of specimens received on Saturday, etc.)
5.	Number of bed hospital
6.	Number of pathologists
7.	Number of techs that come in to cover weekend services
8.	Number of pathologists that come in/cover the weekend
9.	Number of employees that cover histology (during the week)
10.	Do you have separate sections for immunohistochemistry and/or
special stains
11.	Number of employees that cover immunohistochemistry and/or special
stain (if separate sections)
12.	Are immunohistochemistry and/or special stains performed on the
weekends
