Acid maltase stain for muscle

My pathologist thinks that he saw an acid maltase stain on
frozen muscle sections(rather than a biochemical analysis
on a larger portion) and I would like to know if any of you
are aware of this procedure. If so, please forward any
information to this listserver or my e-mail address.
