I have a question.

Is there bone with fibrous tissue attached? or are you asking about
sectioning bone separately from just a dense fibrous tissue?

Sorry, no titles of publications for these.

Hill EL, and Elde R, J Histochem Cytochemistry 38:443-448, 1990
An improved method for preparing cryostat sections of undecalcified
bone for multiple uses. *** this publication contains an excellent
reference by JE Aaron and DH Carter, J Histochem/Cytochem 35:361-369, 19
on doing undecalcifed bone frozens.

Dodds gave a workshop in Monterey, NSH 1992, and his handout was
very sketchy on references, no titles, just author, journal, etc.
Hacker sponsered the cryostat, and maybe they have a better
reference list with full publication titles. You might check
MedLine for new publications by Dodds, he also did ISH.

Good luck,
Gayle Callis
