There's is a recent article in Histopathology 1998,33,28-33 by Pilloni, L
et al about the value of different
cooper stains in the diagnosis of WD. In short, the results are
disappointing, the common Rhodamin stain fails
quite often, best method is TIMM's which I haven't tried til now.

BTW: as the journal with the original Timm's procedure is not available
(published in Histochemie 1961) in
Vienna, could anybody send information about it?
