I second the recommendation about the Dako IHC handbook. It will give
you a good overview. Have you checked with your state histo society about
any upcoming meetings or seminars? If you do some homework (reading) and go
about setting up IHC methodically & carefully, I'm sure you'll do well.

If our lab wanted to start learning and doing immunostaining first by hand
