Years and years ago (1970's) we used 5% Chromic acid - but I think they
figured out that it will kill you now. I've since used a weak (0.5%)
hydrochloric acid solution to acid rinse glassware piecemeal as I need it.

After many, many years of not having to mess with cleaning my own glassware,
it looks like I'm back in the business. Seems like I remember using a 2%(?)
nitric acid solution. Does this seem reasonable? Any and all suggestions
would be appreciated.
