nerve teasing
From: | Sue Danielson <sdaniels@post.its.mcw.edu> |
Hi Jean,
I have always used a 50% aqueous solution of glycerin to tease the nerve in
and also to soak the nerve in before teasing (preferrably overnight). I
find that this softens the nerve up, making it easier to tease after
osmication and rinsing. We tease using the 3c fine point tweezers from EMS.
I have never used epon as a teasing media...cant comment on how it might
compare to the glycerin method.
