Barbara,
sometime last year I read  about a procedure for fatty tissue.  I think it
was in the Journal of Histotechnology, but I'm not sure.  If the tissue is
embedded, melt the block down.  Place the tissue in between paper towels an
gently press on the tissue, then place the tissue back into a cassette and
leave in paraffin for about an hour.  I tried it a couple of times on breast
tissue and it seemed to work without reprocessing.   Good luck.  Happy
