I am currently working with 5 microns paraffin sections of "pig" pigmented
retinal epithelium. I have bleached the sections with 10% Hydrogen Peroxide
for 2 days and performed ISH on sections with a pig specific DNA probe to
test conditions and have had good results with ISH. However, I am really
interested in using a Pig Y DNA Probe on these sections and I am not having
any success. Does anyone have any thoughts on why the Pig Y probe is not
working in this tissue? (I have used this probe in other pig male tissue
and have had good results).
Thanks,
