RE: anti-betagalactosidase in paraffin slides

We have been very happy with the polyclonal from Biodesign (B59136R). It
works well with Ficin, 10% Urea, and standard 10 mM Citrate Buffer antigen
retrieval.
Good luck with it!

Subject: anti-betagalactosidase in paraffin slides
Hello:
Has anyone had success with antibodies against B Gal in paraffin embedded
tissue? We have tried several with no success and ICN does not recomment
the Cappel rabbit ab in paraffin. I cannot use frozen sections (am working
with embryonic-early post-natal mouse inner ear and need sharp morphology.
Is there hope? Thanks in advance for any assistance.
