The Region 3 meeting is scheduled for March 21-24, 2002 in Chattanooga,
Tennessee and hosted by The Tennessee Society for Histotechnology (TSH). The
committee is in the process of developing the program which needs to be
completed by January 2002. If interested in presenting a workshop or lecture
in any related histological field, please submit an abstract for review. 

Abstracts submitted must include:
	
	Title of presentation
	150 word abstract of presentation
	Length of workshop
	Length of lecture
	Equipment list
	Name, address and telephone number of presenter(s), an e-mail
address would also be helpful
	Curriculum vitae, or background experience for each presenter,
include degrees, certification and/or specialty
	Please identify if your workshop/lecture is previously approved with
NSH for CEU credits, if not, TSH will apply for approval

		*Seminar lecture presentation may include medical,
industrial, veterinary, research, plant, marine, other histology techniques
or applications and management/personal development.

		*Workshop may be basic, intermediate, and/or advanced on the
same topics listed under lectures.

		*A copy of the handout of accepted lecture or workshop will
be required by January 2002.

		Notification of workshop/lecture acceptance will be on or
before December 31, 2001. Presenters' travel and lodging expenses will be
reimbursed through  the committee.
