I think the turnaround times you expect in your vet lab are reasonable, 
though I have found that some animal tissue doesn't cut as easily as human 
tissue.
I am the human companion of two very wonderful animals, and I expect my 
friends to receive the same consideration when they require medical treatment 
that I give to every patient whose tissues I prepare in our hospital lab.
