Re: [Histonet] recycled xylene question

From:Rene J Buesa

She should check the diverting valve, the one that diverts the "waste" to the waste container and that shuts down when the temperature reaches the BP of xylene.
If the valve is not working correctly some "waste" will be diverted to the "recycled xylene" container and will contaminate it.

I'm asking this question for a friend and I'm including her email address
so you can respond directly to her.

Her lab has been having problems with water in their recycled xylene. She
is wondering if anybody else has had this problem and what they did to
prevent it. They have a CBG recycler and process on a VIP 5 tissue processor.
