Isolectin B4-alternative

From:Sven Terclavers

Dear listers,

I was asked to post the following question on this mailinglist. Does anyone knows an answer for
this? Thanks in advance,

I have been trying to perfuse mice with isolectin B4, but it is
extremely expensive and the results are not 100% satisfatory. Now I
am trying to find out which lectin can be used instead, because they
are less expensive and look like specific as well. I know there are
several lectins and they have different specificities for the
vasculature. If I pretend an equal staining among arteries, veins and
capillaries, which is the most adequate one? I am trying to visualize
vessels in the cornea and limbus.
