we have just switched over from doing diff quick to immuno on all gastric 
bxs.  it has worked our better for our pathologists, it is more sensitive 
and we feel that there were some missed with the other stain.

also we have been inspected by JCAHO and had to move everything but cleaning 
stuff from under our sinks.

one question for everone, has anybody done immunos after drying in the 
microwave, I have a tech that cuts immunos, dries them in the microwave and 
the stain looks good.  has anyone had any expierence with doing immunos this 
way.  I always thought you could not dry they in the microwave, it would 
damage the antigens? thanks for the help.
