I guess you could, but consider these points;

The coffee pot is not designed to keep the paraffin at it's optimum
temperature, but is designed to boil water.
the coffee pot is not designed for continous duty.
The coffee pot is not designed to be used with flammable liquids.

I'll bet your safety officer would croak if they saw a coffee pot used for
melting paraffin.

Now accepting all messages telling me that "they" have used coffee pots for
years for this exact purpose!
