Carrie,
This is the formula I have for Davidsons fixative. We use it as a
post formalin fix for mouse eyes to improve penetration and initiate
dehydration (12-24 hours) then into 50% alcohol.
95% IMS - 30ml
10% neutral formalin - 20ml
glacial acetic acid - 10ml
distilled water - 30ml
