Hi Marylou,

We use Novocastra's (Vector Labs) CD5 at 1:15 on Ventana immunostainers.
Our HIER procedure is 40" 1mM EDTA, pH 8 in a 93 degree C waterbath or the
same buffer for 3" in the Biocare Decloaking Chamber. As with CD10, we
amplify the primary signal with Ventana's Amplification kit or you can
manually do this by applying RxM IgG followed by MxR IgG after the primary.
Your secondary needs to recognize both mouse and rabbit. Incubation of the
primary (and all other reagents) is performed at 42 degrees C.

Hope this helps.

P.S. Access to a good mantle cell lymphoma or CLL is critical for
optimization.
