Dear Ian,
Anti -alpha smooth muscle actin clone 1A4 works on human and rat tissue
so it should also work on mouse. I must admit I can't remember if I
have tried it on mouse or not. It is available from many suppliers but
I have found that Sigma (A-2547) is a good source since it has a much
higher titre than most. They recommend 1:400 but I have found it works
well at 1:800. If working with animal tissue the high titre can be an
advantage since dilutions can be radically different.
