The Histology department of Christus St Frances Cabrini Hospital,
Alexandria, LA,  has an immediate job opening for a full time
Histotechnician. We are a medium sized Catholic Hospital that services
a large rural population in central Louisiana.  We offer an extremely
stable work environment (this is the first opening in 8 years), a well
equipped, well ventilated laboratory with Ventana ES automated
immunostainer, Leitz microtomes, Leica XL autostainer, Tissue Tissue
Tek coverslipper and tissue processor.  The three pathologists are
progressive and very pro Histology.  We are seeking an HT or HT
eligible technician for the 0830-1700 shift, no weekends, no holidays,
