RE: fish histology

From:Deborah Faichney

I can't help with the Tilapia reference, but can recommend one for
Salmonids.

Histology Atlas, normal structure of salmonids. International edition. 1992

A.b. Amin & L.Mortensen, T.Poppe.
ISBN: 82-992406-1-1

I have previously had a fair bit of experience in Tilapia histology and can
only say thank goodness we don't do it very often these days!! (Buy plenty
blades!!)

Our department of Fisheries and Marine Sciences seem to be very deficient in
books on fish histology. Can anyone make any recommendations? And in
particular Tilapia?

Thanks,
