I seem to remember that QA logs have to be kept for two years.

We are trying to make sure we are meeting the CAP guidelines for control slide retention.  I have checked the CAP guidelines, and there is really no where (that I can find anyway!), that specifically states the retention of control slides.
What is everyone out in histoland doing with their control slides and QC logs for routine H&E's and special stain controls?
Thanks for the info!
