Hi Dear Histoneters,

I got a question here. I am trying to perform some Nissl staining in order
to visualise neurones in the rodent MFB (medial forebrain bundle, structures
that projects dopaminergic outputs towards the ventral striatum). However
the MFB is tiny and to my knowledge there is no landmark structure close
enough to be able to identify it with certainty.
Has anyone got clues, previous experience, alternative straining procedures?


Any help will be greatly appreciated
