The tape-transfer system for paraffin sections has been used with success
for plastic sections. The problem of mounting the section on the slide is
eliminated. The section is cut onto a tape window and directly transferred
to an adhesive-coated slide. The adhesive coating is polymerized in 30
sec.and the tape is removed.
