Hi Anita,
nope, we donīt check IHC buffer solutions every day. Usually thereīs only a
few days from preparation to use. After preparing we adjust the pH with a
pH-meter and thatīs it.
For more critical buffers like the one buffering the paraformaldehyde for
fixation I like to use phenol-red and usually you see even small deviations
by color-changes.
