Hi Sonia

We have tried CK19, clone RCK108 (e.g. from Dako) on cryosections of rat
liver - no reactivity in bile ducts. However, CK7, clone OV-TL 12/30 (Dako M
7018) crossreacts with rat CK7 and labels bile ducts just as nicely as does
CK19. We routinely use CK7 on human FFPE liver biopsies (working conc. 7 ug
Ig/ml, pretreatment with trypsin, HIER-citrate will also work) . We've used
clone OV-TL 12/30 to label rat bile ducts (worked well), alhough only on
cryosections. However, I guess you could convince the antibody to do its job
on FFPE rat liver as well. Good luck!
