Hi histonetters!

I'm taking a survey.  Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.  Also,
if anyone can point me in the direction of the regulations that cover ICD-9
coding of pathology specimens, that would be great!

1.  Does your laboratory ICD-9 code the pathology tissue from the
preoperative/postoperative diagnosis or from the final pathology diagnosis?

2.  Is there any regulation that specifies this for anatomic pathology?
