HISTOLOGY  LABORATORY TECHNICAL LEAD

Fairview-University Medical Center Histology Laboratory (Specimen Receiving and Autopsy section) is seeking a Histology Technician who has completed  AMA approved program plus 2 years of  full time relevant, OR has 4 years current clinical histology experience.  HT(ASCP) certification required.

Technical Lead position must act as a resource person; possess interpersonal skills (written, verbal); independently troubleshoot problems; orient and train new staff; organize, and prioritize the work flow; possess computer skills; and perform specimen receiving and autopsy functions for the clinical laboratory. This position must function effectively as a part of team.
