[Histonet] Thanks for the GMS tips!

THANK YOU for all the suggestions regarding my pneumo problem. Here is what
I did and got absolutely beautiful clean (no background) staining:

 

10% chromic acid for 10 minutes at room temperature (no heating the chromic
at all)

Rinse in bisulfite

Preheat silver to 56 degrees and place slides in it

Put in 56 - 60º oven for a total of 16 minutes

Finish as usual. 

 

The stain is GORGEOUS and CLEAN!  And nothing fell off the slide.

I am convinced as some of you suggested, that the tissue was over oxidized
by the hot chromic acid.

 

The Histonet is a beautiful thing!
