Deparafinize sections as usual, stain with 1% Uvitex 2B in PBS for 10-30 
min RT, rinse with saline, counterstain with 0,5% Evans Blue in PBS for 
30s, or with Gill's hematoxylin. Dehydrate, clear in xylene and mount.

Sometimes background staining is caused by autofluorescent mounting 
media and/or counterstains. Use these counterstains and avoid 
autofluorescent resisns for mounting. Hope it helps,
