RE: reprocessing tissue

I'm not sure of any of the articles, but one of our techs got this method at the San Antonio NSH long ago and we've been using it ever since.  It does work very well and we have never seen any adverse affect from it!!  We melt the blocks in an 80 degree C. oven, press out the excess paraffin, then place them back in the cassette and into 10% formalin to be reprocessed again from the beginning.
