Hi everyone

Does anyone have a working protocol(IHC or special stain) to detect neuromuscular junctions in formalin-fixed rat muscles?!  I have tried antibodies to nicotinic receptors alpha-4, beta-1, beta-2, as well as acetylcholinesterase, all to no avail.  I am contemplating releasing my newest scientific finding that rats lack neuromuscular junctions altogether!!!!!  =)  

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
