Yes, it is possible to stain for both of those markers, best done with
antimouse antibodies, and you may have better luck with frozens/acetone
fixed (PharMingen recommendation) on CD69.  They indicated the thymus for
CD69 with frozens, the PNAd both frozens/paraffin with citrate retrieval,
and on the latter, using LN and small intestine (positive controls)
Our lab does PNAd aka Meca 79 on frozens with great success.
