Just wanted to pass along something I just learned. I took the Hep B vaccine
series back in 1993. At that time we were told the vaccine should be good
for life. I just had my titer checked again and found it to be negative. Our
company health service told me CDC now says the vaccine is probably good for
8-10 years on average. I've just had a booster and will be re-titered in 8
weeks. So if you're like me and had your series some years ago you might
want to request a re-titer so you know where you stand with your
immunization.
